The premise for THE
WINEMAKER’S CHOICE initiated by Castello di Potentino is very simple. It aims
to create a selection of wine estates chosen by winemakers themselves - a
guide that generates organically without the influence of an individual or a
collegiate system.
The Winemaker’s Choice
begins by the first producer (Castello di Potentino) selecting winemakers based on the rules which will then be applied to all other winemakers thereafter.
Each winemaker can choose up to four winemakers.
No more than two can be from within their own region (for example, Tuscany).
A further choice within their own country can be made.
One choice can also be made internationally.

The intention is to develop the concept of THE CHOICE internationally and in other areas of creative
